Family

Family in this story meant nothing. I think it meant nothing in this story because the family of Benjamin just care of how people would talk about them or think of them. The father of Benjamin didn't like Benjamin at the moment he was born because he was afraid, what people would say about him and his father Roger was a very important person in this time and in the neighborhood when Benjamin was born. I also think this because of the wife Hildegarde she didn't support him when he found out that he was getting younger , she tough it was just him doing all the changes. My last reason I think this is because his son didn't let him call "Roscoe" but uncle he is disrespecting his own father and he shouldn't do that. At the end he say that he own sees Nana and a guys that come sees him a few time. I think Roscoe his son should come see him all the time.

Age

In this story age means how good you are. I think this because if you are old like when Benjamin

they think you cant do anything. On reason is when he went to apply to the school they didn't let him go in it because they said he was an old man. I think this too because when Benjamin was his father age they knew how to do the same things and he and his father looked alike that's when his father Roger and his son Benjamin started to get along. Age is really important because when he got marry to his wife Hildegarde everyone told her why is she getting marry to an old man of 50 years old that he is going to die soon. Age is important because he stopped liking her when he was getting younger. When they send him a letter to join back to the army they didn't let him go in because they tough he was a kid and they said he cant do anything. When he was young he didn't remember nothing and all he had was a Nana to take care of him nothing else matter in his life. Age didn't mean anything ether because instead of respecting Benjamin since he was getting older they forgot that. They didn't even care about him.

Beauty

Beauty in this story mean different to some people. In the story beauty meant nothing to the wife when they were getting married because when people told her she is getting married to and old man she didn't care she wanted someone that was mature. The father Roger did care of how they looked when he was born because they wanted to make him younger and not look like and old man. It also matter to the son Of Benjamin how he looked because he didn't want someone smaller that him calling him Roscoe. Beauty was important to Roger Benjamin's father and his son Roscoe because they cared what people would say.
