The effects they had on the kews for wearing the star was so they could brand them with it , so they could slip them apart. I think the star meant that they had done something bad to the Nazis' and that all jews should pay. They also wanted only to have one kind of people.

It shows that Mr. Van Daans is not such a good guy because when they said he was coming he said that there is not to many food for all of them to survive and that was kind of selfish of him to say.

Living with some times a whole day with no food was not good but my father always took us little bit food and keept us a live. My step mother and my father din't have much to eat and Me and my brother over heard what they were saying about leaving us in the forest. As soon as I heard that tears came out my eyes. "It will be okay I know what to do." Is what my brother said. Then Isow him getting a lot of pebbles. "What's that for?"I asked "It will help us come back home now lets sleep becasue tommorrow is a bad day." I feel a sleep quickly just tring not to think that my father wasgoing to leave me in the forest. I keepted on thinking that everything was going to be okay but I really knew it wasent so I gegged to God to help us.

The next morning my step momther came to our room and told us we are going to the woods. I sow her with terrifing eyes and sayed "Okay". We were going into the woods were I sow my brother leaving the pebbles marking the trail back home . My father put a little fire for us and then left us a piece of bread and said they will come back and get us when they get all the wood they need. We fell a sleep and then when we woke up it was mighnight and my brother said "We have to wait until the sun comes up so we could see the pebbles." We sleep a little bit more and then we sleep a little bit more and when we woked up the sun had came up and we went back home following the pebbles. When we got home out step mom came out and said"Why did you guys stay to long there sleeping". Our dad was happy to see us. When the night came againg the they were talking again about leaving us in the forest but even more farther inside.

When the next morning came it happend the same thing and my borther could get any more pebbles bacause our step mom had locked our room. We got a peace of bread the was smaller that the one two day ago and this time the crums of the bread didn't lead us back home but it leads us to a house made of bread and windows made of sugar. I was happy that was going to be able to eat something that I just went there and and statered to lick the windows. Then an old woman told us to come in she had a verry god meal in the table for us and 2 bed too.We ate and then fell a sleep I wished my father was here so that we share with him was going on. Then I sow the old woman putting my brother into a place were he cant come out and when i woked up she said "hurry wake up and cook for your brother when he is nice and fat we'll ate him." I was very scared and I have to do what that the old woman sayed .

Time pasted and my brother didn't get any fatter. The old woman was decided to kill both of us and then she toldme to check if the oven was ready so I pushed her in and then she was burning I tok my brother out of the cage and then I graved good things that will help us live. We got our way home and our step mother was death and our father was really happy.

If would blame someone for the deaths I would blame Uncle Billy. I would blame him because what he did was really wrong in just leaving them there with no food or atleats telling them he is leaving. I think he was the one that he was planining to do that. If Uncle Billy would have never leaft with all the food while Tommy went back to get help they would have still being alive and they would keep on going with a little more food and no one will had a death like that. They should have never trusted uncle billy.

"The story of an hour"

The story was about a woman that had a husband that liked controlling her. She wanted to be free and wished that life wasn't going to be so long and then they came and told her that her husband is death she she was happy but pretended she wasn't and cried. She was thinking how happy and free she could be once and then she sow her husband coming in the door from the house. They said he died of happiness but she didn't she died of shock. What I learned about this story was that people could hide things for a very good time and live misserval like the lady that wasn't happy but still lived with her husband. What I liked about this story was that the ending of it because it was really nice how she died from shock and everyone else though she died from happiness. What I didn't like from the story was that it ended very short. Freedom in this story means in many kind of ways because she got her freedom from death. She is free but she is death.

The story Blind Man was about a poor guy that was blind and no one helped him do anything. People sow how he was sweating under the hot sun and no one told him totake off his jacket. Everyone ignored him and then one day there was an acsident with some rich guy and everyone went to see him. They old blind men wonder were were all the people coming from the ones he heard . What I learnend in this story is that people are discriminated for how poor and how rich they are becasue no one help the old blind men that was very hugry and thisty but they did go to see the rich guy tha got ran over. What I like about this story is that the rich man got ran over and nothing happend to the old blind guy. I didn't like that they didn't put anything in the story to help the guy , that made me feel bad. In this story is about rich and poor becasue to the poor guy he is like invisible and the rich guy everyone oes to look at him. The poor guy is like a penny in the floor and the rich guys is like 25 cents.

What I learned from this story is not to take a move until you kow its complety true . What I liked about this story was that there was an ending so cool becasue of the letter his mother sent to hi father. I think racism stoped when thing liked this happend so maybe more things like this should happen.

Desirre's Baby, The Sequel

After he read that letter he sow a tear coming out his eye. He told him self "No one will ever know about this" and he riped the letter. He went into his room 2 days only ate bread with water. After those 2 days past he made a meeting with all the african American people that were his servants. Since he knew he was a african american he wanter to treat them better than before. "Rules has changed you guys will recive better treatmnt than before" Everyone was verry happy. He sent letter to his ex-wife "sorry come back I love You" But he never heard from her. "I want to see my child" he wrote but still no answer, He got tired of sending letters to her and he decided to go look for her. He almost didn't find the house were she was living in. When he found it he knocked on the door. knok knok. The door open with and angle of 45 angle and then an old lady said "Yes may I halp you?" He reconized her , she was Desiree's mom Then he said thinking how to make it have sence " Is Desiree's here with my son" "Ahh Armand No She is not here she is with " She stood quiete and then Armond was getting anxious to know the rest " With who?" he said "Why dont you come in boy?" Armond said quickly" Ma'm I just want to see Desiree and my son" he said it like he didn't want to have anything from her just them 2. "She got remarried to a guy that wasen't a jerk and tough she was African American" She said tring to make Armand feel guilty. " What she got remarried" He said shouting it out loud.

Days pasted Armand didn't know what to do. When he was reading the newpaper an drinking coffe he decided to go look for them ad take them back home with them and tell her sorry. Time passed he never found them and he lived in a very sad. He lived his live all alone and he regeted sending his wife away. He had a death were only the African AMerican people went to see him and he wished he never sent them out.

Flowers for Algernon

If you were given a choice to have an operation that would make you much smarter, would you do it , especially if you knew the effects of the surgery would only be temporary?why or why not? Use examples from the story.

If I were to have a choice to have a surgery and then become smart I will not do it. I will not do it because I know I will become like I was againg. I'll just prefer to stay the way I am because when he was dumb everyone laugh at him and atleats he had friends but whe he got smart people didn't treat him like they used to do and I won't like people to treat me differently than other just like they did to Charlie. If the operation got me for a long time or for ever then I will do it. Lets say just incase they mess up something then you could be even dummer. I no want to suffer like charlie did after they told him he has no job or like the way they told him that he was fired and then not have a way to pay the rent I will prefer to stay dumb and become smart for a few weeks and then go back like before.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, chapters 8-the end

Family

Family in this story meant nothing. I think it meant nothing in this story because the family of Benjamin just care of how people would talk about them or think of them. The father of Benjamin didn't like Benjamin at the moment he was born because he was afraid, what people would say about him and his father Roger was a very important person in this time and in the neighborhood when Benjamin was born. I also think this because of the wife Hildegarde she didn't support him when he found out that he was getting younger , she tough it was just him doing all the changes. My last reason I think this is because his son didn't let him call "Roscoe" but uncle he is disrespecting his own father and he shouldn't do that. At the end he say that he own sees Nana and a guys that come sees him a few time. I think Roscoe his son should come see him all the time.

In this story age means how good you are. I think this because if you are old like when Benjamin

they think you cant do anything. On reason is when he went to apply to the school they didn't let him go in it because they said he was an old man. I think this too because when Benjamin was his father age they knew how to do the same things and he and his father looked alike that's when his father Roger and his son Benjamin started to get along. Age is really important because when he got marry to his wife Hildegarde everyone told her why is she getting marry to an old man of 50 years old that he is going to die soon. Age is important because he stopped liking her when he was getting younger. When they send him a letter to join back to the army they didn't let him go in because they tough he was a kid and they said he cant do anything. When he was young he didn't remember nothing and all he had was a Nana to take care of him nothing else matter in his life. Age didn't mean anything ether because instead of respecting Benjamin since he was getting older they forgot that. They didn't even care about him.

Beauty in this story mean different to some people. In the story beauty meant nothing to the wife when they were getting married because when people told her she is getting married to and old man she didn't care she wanted someone that was mature. The father Roger did care of how they looked when he was born because they wanted to make him younger and not look like and old man. It also matter to the son Of Benjamin how he looked because he didn't want someone smaller that him calling him Roscoe. Beauty was important to Roger Benjamin's father and his son Roscoe because they cared what people would say.

After reading Chapters 3-7, predict three problems you think Benjamin will encounter and give your solutions for each.


One problem I think that he is going to encounter is with his wife getting old and cheating on her.
I think that he should just break up with her and tell her why.

My second problem i think he is going to have is when he forgets how to talk when he will be like a little kid again. I think the solution for this is for his mom to take care of him.

The last problem I think he is going to have is that he will start to lose all the things he knows from him being old. I think that he should keep on learning what he knew and study it over so he don't forget.

Roger is conserned with how Benjamin looks and is worried aboiut what people are going to say. What should he do?

I think he should just deal with the fact that he has a baby that looks like a old man and be proud of all the things that are happining to him and just have a good time with the kid and act like if thats your dad and dont care what the people say about him the baby or the dad. I would live my life. I will also move out of the country and go to a place where no one knows them.

What would you have done if you were Roger Button in chapter 1?

If I was Roger Button I would have taken him with me to my house by him some clothes and then keep him there until I figuere out what is going on with him .Whenm he is at my house I would take care of him and love him I would also support him . I will take him outside after a while then there will be a lot of people coming to see what happend , I would be better know and my son will be too. I will also be making my kid famouse becasue he would be everyewhere and everyone will want to meet him. I wouldn't deny my son to anyone and I would walk around the neighborhood proud that I got a old son.

A picture is Worth a thousand words

This is so delicious our first good meal since dad left. Dad left when Edwin my brother was born. He left for war and I don't remember him that good but my mom tells me he looks like me. I don't know if he is even still in war or just left us but I'm sure he will come back someday. I'm 7 years old and I'm the oldest son. I have a sister, Ella she is the second oldest. I live with my mom and grandma Du. I also live with uncle J. Uncle j is not my real uncle I really don't like him a lot, when my father left he came. He is mean but he brings food and money home. My brother has a sickness he cant run because he needs air. It's called asma . His treatments are really expensive and we don't have the money to buy them so we just make sure he doesn't run or do a lot of thing that may cause him to need air. I go to work on the fields in the morning at 5:00 a.m with Uncle J . I try my best to make mom happy and I think she would be happy if Uncle J wasn't here helping us. Uncle J treats mom really bad like she was a slave but I promised her when I grow up I will make her a better life.

When we finished our mean it was time for bed. My mom always reads me a book when we go to sleep. It was at night and I heard some noises out side "Uncle J?" "What do you want can't you see I'm sleeping?!" I told him "Do you hear does footsteps?" "No got to sleep and leave me alone" I was scared I wanted to cry and at the same time protect my family. When I was going to close my eyes I heard shooting " Move put the mattress to cover your self's !" "I told uncle J to go see and he didn't listen to me !" I was scared all the shooting stop like in 5 minutes. When everything was quiet Uncle J wen to check and when he came back he said ," There going and Andrew come here" He was calm and he looked kind of tiered when I went over there I though he was going to ask for and apology but when I got in front of him he looked at me and then he slapped he really hard tears came out of my eyes. "Whats your problem ?" mom said "shut up!" He said and he grab my mom by the arm and took her to the room. My sister came and hugged me so did my brother and I was so mad I made my mind up. I was going to leave home run away. I was going to go to the United Stated. When I become 12 they will draft me in the war since it was so bad so if I just leave none of these will happen. The people I though about was my mom and brothers. When I though about my grandma "Where is she ?" i said to my self I went running into her room and I sow her in the floor with her leg shot."Grandma !Grandma!" I could be live it she was dead her heart didn't pump or at least I didn't hear it pump I told Ella to go get mom. When my came in she just went on the floor and started to cry. "No No mom please wake up!"

That night was a night quite more quiet than the other nights you could hear a paperclip fall on the floor. I didn't sleep that hole night. They were preparing a small funeral because of the money a lot of people cooperated. We had her funeral and I was mad. I told my mom about the leaving to the United states and she agreed with me but when I was 10 I would go. She had a cousin that would be over there.

Time passed my birthday came I had been saving money to go to the United States. When I was ready to leave my mom got me ready and I said bye to everyone. I was sad but I have to give my mother a better life. I left in a truck with other kids I was crying. Going trow the border was hard but I made it.

I came back to India when I was 18. My mom was old and I helped her get to United States we get to filed some paper for her and my brothers. Uncle J was old and I helped him get to the United States. Once we were there Uncle J left us and I was happy. We lived happy and we had a better life.

THe secret

it was my best friend's deepest darkest secret and it would be a hard one to keep. I'm Bianca Dias a student at Spider pig's High School. I'm a cheerleader and I had my best friend since the 8Th grade her name is Jasmin. In 7Th grade when I meet her I didn't like her because I thought she was mean and her Friends she hang out with I didn't get along. After a while When we got to 8Th she was funny and I had my friends that talked to her and she copied me sometimes. I started to like her and then we became best friend I was coming out of cheer leading practice and Jasmin was waiting for me. I was going into her car and then I sow that she had bruises in her arms "What happened?" "Nothing" She said. I was not in the mood to be vegging her to tell me what had happen. When we walked in I sow Jessica with Nick going down the stairs while the stairs were going up. "Hello Nick , Hey Jessica " . We were all shopping and then Jasmin said"Bianca Lets go my mom is looking for me" "Right then" . We left but instead of going home she took me to the buffet. "Why we coming here" I said and she looked scared and said"I have to talk to you" "I sow a tear coming out of her eyes . When we walked in I payed for the 2 of us and then we sat in the corner. "Okay tell me whats going onShe just looked down and said " I have to move" I was quiet " No why but tell your parents if you could stay with me or something don't move please your my best friend!!" I was going crazy what happened why is she moving I was hitting the tables and then i took out my cellphone and said " Okay I'm going to call your mom and tell" She came out and said " Bianca no that's the problem I'm not moving with them I'm moving out!" I sat down think why so i asked her "why"
"Okay this is something that I want you to know only okay" " I'm adopted" "That do sent matter" "Yea it does I don't have a family" I started to cry "Jasmin your my family your my sister" She told her mom she was going to stay sleep over and then we talked and then i did a promise not to tell anyone. She said as soon as she graduate she was moving out. Then we were going to go live together like sister. I feel proud because of me now she is not moving out.

her Mysterious death

Her death was due to mysterious circumstances and I was assigned to the case. Katherine Sanchez was an secretary for the Major of Illinois. It was on February 14 2009 ,Valentines Day when she went missing. Her body was found on February 15 2009 on day after the day of Valentines Day. Her body was all cover in blood but she only had one little bit in her leg. I looked at her cellphone and the last call she made was to her boyfriend. I called him ,“Hello I’m decteve Sandra and am solving the case of Katherine Sanchez I believe that was your girlfriend?” He said , “Yea that is my girlfriend, what case?” He didn’t even know what I was talking about “ Your Girlfriend had pasted away on February 15.” He was quite ,“What no that can’t be !” “ Sir, You have to come down when can I speak to you in person?” “When ever?” he said then I said “Can it be in 20 minutes at my office” “Sure give me you address?” I gave it to him.

He came and the guy was a good looking guy. He was crying and he asked me as son as he came into my office “WHO THE HELL KILLED HER?” I told him what was going on and he told me she was a really happy person and he loved her a lot. I was feeling sad for not being able to solve this mystery. I started to look up her name and she had a big record involved in gangs with drug and other stuff. She was the secretary of the major how did she get to be there with her being into all those things. This record showed that just 1 year ago she was arrested to being found with drugs.
When they called me from the hospital after they investigate the body I got that she was killed with venom.Venom of a snake. I was confused I had to get everything straight here with what was gong on. I had 3 thing I was sure about . First her boyfriend didn’t even know she has died. Second she was a secretary and last year she was arrested. Last there where big pieces missing in this puzzle.

Months passed and I didn’t even have any idea of what happen. All I could think about is her getting killed for some political bissness nothing else. She didn’t have any family members and all the numbers in er phonebook were privete. I stil keep on tring to find out but with no witness or any thing to give me evedence it was really hard. The only person she had contact when we traced her calls was her boyfriend. Years passed and still nothing I worked on other cases and solved them but this one I think it will never we solved. This mystery I will keep on working for it because there is something out there that has been.

To make Logandale batter you would have to get more fun things. I think that Logandale should have more fun sports. Logandale should have more dances. I think that Logandale should get more fieldtrips during schools hours. If you have all theses in the school I think more students will want to come.


By Logandale getter more sports it will attract a lot of students. They would like to come to school not only to learn but for their sports. They will also be more athlete and will have something to do after school. There are many students that are really into sports and if they get that they will tell other students. All the sport will be making your school have a grater population and the school could also have dances to make it fun.

If Logandale gets more dances a lot of students will be having fun. If you always come to school and you don’t see your friends all the time you want to be with them in party’s having fun. There will be more people paying money to get in and then the school will have money to get better things. Students want to have fun and dance they would be really happy and they will tell friends that are in other schools.


Logandale doesn’t have many fieldtrips if you have more fieldtrips students would want to go. Students may always be home and not go to any fun places. Making the fieldtrips fun and educative will be really fun and people will want to come to the school. Students will be happy because they are learning and having fun at the same time. Wouldn’t you like to have fun while learning?

Theses are the things that I think you would make Logandale a better school.
Having more fun sports. Get more dances in school. Be having educating fieldtrips. If you went to a school like thing you would like it right?

Sandra Rodas life story

I have knew my cousin since the day she was born. On August 31 I was with my aunt at the hospital because she had a lot of pain. I was happy to have a little cousin to be with and I was the one that came up with her name Sandra. My aunt was 9 months and she had a big belly when she was going to have the baby I had to go and wait in the wait room. It was like 2 hours waiting until sister said , "come see you new cousin!" I went in there and there she was lain there. I went home and my room was with her. I was not happy because she kept on crying at night. When she got older I was 4 and she was 2 . I used to be fighting with her all the time. On day she went to the hospital in and I was happy because now I could play with all the toys. She didn’t came back in a week I started to miss her and I wanted to see her. She came back in two weeks I was nice to her and we didn’t fight anymore like before only sometimes.


I started to go to school and she stayed home. It was fun in school but when I got home my cousin wanted to break my homework. She started to go to school too I was one year ahead of her. We lived in front of the school so we walked home together. She was like my sister. We went to Ecuador together for 3 weeks. It was fun we played in the grass and with the little animals. We went to the water falls together and got wet. She use to be scared of the horses but went I told her to look at it and touch it easy she wasn’t that scared. We had our own bed and went together to take showers. At the party’s we used to be together in the day of Carnaval we wet each other. In the plain to come back we had our sits together and got nervous when the plain went up.


When she was 10 I was 12 and my family was moving to and other houses. I didn’t want to go and she didn’t want me to go. We have been together since she was born. I sow her each Saturday and stayed sleep over until Sunday. I was fun but not like before. 2 months past and the owner of the house sold it and they had to move out and we went to live with them again. I was in 7th and she was in 6th we came to school together and we also lived together we went shopping and did each others hair. For her birthday I was the one that planed it and I didn’t it . She had a lot of fun paying in the machines.


When she was in 7th grade someone send her a text message saying that it was me and I was going to beat her up. She came up to me and I felt really bad because she was like my sister. When we were out side she was with a lot of girls and I called her over here and she came with all of them. I told her what was wrong and then my friend pushed one of her friends and they were going to slap her . She said lets take this to the alley and then we went. The 2 girls were fighting and they didn’t know how to and out of sudden Sandra’s best friend I think jumps in and I was not going to let her fight 2 against 1. When I graved her friend by the hairs I smashed her against the garage. Then a lot of girls came in. I didn’t get in troble but I didn’t talk to her we sleep in the same room and eat in the same table but I didn’t talk to her like for more than 3 months. I felt really bad because some had my phone and send theses messages. When I started to talk to her I asked her if she wanted to be in my Sweet 15. She gave me an attitude but I understand why. Then She told me yes. I felt happy but not as happy to talk to her ageing. She was mad and came into the room smashing everything. I asked her what’s wrong and she said am mad. We stared talking and then we talked about the problems we had. Then we just happy and we were like sister and now when we fight first we talk it over.
